IFA Branch Curaçao-Aruba-Sint Maarten

IFA Branch Curaçao-Aruba-Sint Maarten was established in 2002 to provide a platform for members, consisting of professionals from both public and private sector, to come together and discuss topical international tax and fiscal issues with the objective to advance international and comparative fiscal law. IFA Branch Curaçao-Aruba-Sint Maarten aims to contribute to international IFA research publications and conducting seminars across the Caribbean Region, including Suriname. The Branch provides a unique forum for practitioners, taxpayers, academics, government officials and the judiciary to network and interact.

IFA around the world

IFA is a neutral, independent, non-lobby organisation and as such the only global network of its kind. As a non-profit organisation, IFA provides a global platform where representatives of all professions and interests can meet and discuss international tax issues at the highest level. IFA was established in 1938 with its headquarters in the Netherlands. Its objects are the study and advancement of international and comparative law in regard to public finance, specifically international and comparative fiscal law and the financial and economic aspects of taxation.

IFA seeks to achieve these objects through its Annual Congresses and the scientific publications relating thereto as well as through scientific research. IFA's flagship event is its annual congress, attended by approximately 2.000 delegates every year.
